Network on Security Sector Reform in Nigeria” (NetSSRIN) is a consortium of 12 civil society organizations from across the six geo-political zones established by CLEEN Foundation with the support from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
NetSSRIN is dedicated to monitoring and documenting urgent cases of human rights violations by the military and other security personnel and responses to allegations of abuse; defending and protecting human rights for all individuals with no discrimination based on ethnic, religion, origin, political opinion and gender.
Evidence documented by the programme is submitted to relevant decision makers at the domestic, regional and international level and used to publish to support legal proceedings.
NetSSRIN seeks to promote human rights values and increase awareness about human rights guaranteed in the universal declaration for human rights and international convention and treaties.
NetSSRIN is a coalition that seeks to deliver the voices and demands of victims of human rights abuses to relevant authorizes in Nigeria.
